USS Pawcatuck AO-108

Can anybody identify the ships for sure ?

Update 1/7/00 - Dave Willis contacted me with a list obtained from the Maritime Commission
Order of ships - left merchant ship, to its right Waccamaw then Canisteo, Caloosahatchee, Mississinewa,Pawcatuck

Mr. Willis was a former crew member of USS Pawcatuck - he has identified the ship (raised letters can still be seen even tho painted over)

HERE IS PICTURE THAT SETH PERRY HAD AND HE SHOWED THIS TO JAN AND I WHEN WE STOPPED TO SEE HIM AND HIS WIFE ON THE 24TH OF MAY SETH DIED THE 9TH OF JUNE AND HIS WIFE TALKED TO ME ON THE PHONE AND I ASKED HER IF I COULD HAVE THE PICTURE OF THE SHIP WHICH IS GOING UNDER THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE IN NEW YORK HE WAS NOT SURE WHEN THE PICTURE WAS TAKEN BUT IT COULD HVE BEEN IN SEPT OF 1955 WHEN WE DI GO TO NEW YORK AND GO TO SHIPYARD AND TIE UP FOR A FEW DAYS HOPE YOU ENJOY IT DAVE WILLIS
